Speaker Profiles

Helen Mitchell

Helen is an experienced New Media professional with a background in managing successful websites.

Prior to founding Ascendancy in January 2004, she spent five years working client-side managing, developing, marketing and generally nurturing websites in a range of industries including agriculture, travel and healthcare.

Helen's qualifications include a Diploma in New Media Management from the University of London and an MPhil in Linguistics from the University of Cambridge.

As well as running Ascendancy Internet Marketing, she is a qualified teacher and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton Business School.

Helen was runner up in the 'Shropshire WiRE Woman of the Year Award' 2005.

Andrew Corbett and Anna Wilde

Andrew Corbett and Anna Wilde founded PerfectArc in February 2000. Originally based at a converted hen house at Anna's house, the company soon grew and now employs 6 staff and four homeworkers.

Their clients, large and small, include major household name companies and sole traders.

PerfectArc supplies everything from small brochure websites right the way through to complex online systems and we pride ourselves on speaking English, not computer.
